Justice Uphold, the Law and Human Rights Platform, was founded in 2024 by exiled legal professionals with the vision of “working for a fairer and more respectful world for human rights.” Our team members, who fled an environment where law and justice were undermined by oppression, persecution, and threats, and who met and united in Switzerland with similar stories, quickly began activities to emphasize the undeniable reality of the rule of law in line with our vision.
We have personally experienced how peace and tranquility are disturbed in an environment where justice is abused, how oppression increases day by day, and its unbearable devastation. While we now live peacefully in lands with a fairer order, we could not turn a blind eye to those facing injustice or living under persecution.
Justice means protecting rights and delivering them to their rightful owners. However, in places where oppression prevails, justice is silenced, and consciences are darkened. Therefore, in such conditions, victims desperately await a helping hand. It is the duty of those with a conscience to make this oppression known, cry out against injustices, and be the voice of the innocent.
In line with this purpose, our platform, which started its activities in 2024, quickly organized to make the voices of victims heard by preparing Human Rights Review Reports at the UN level, giving presentations, publishing articles to draw the attention of conscientious individuals, and actively sharing on social media to raise public awareness.
As we leave 2024 behind, we enter 2025 with greater excitement and motivation to realize our vision. We hope 2025 will be a year where rights are restored to their rightful owners, conflict is replaced with peace, oppression gives way to tranquility, true justice prevails, people look at each other with trust, the tears of the oppressed are wiped away, the guilty are held accountable for their crimes, justice dominates every level of society, no one’s rights are violated, and the scales of justice weigh accurately.
